Anzac day clash against bitter rivals Mt.Eliza and form lines over the last few weeks suggested a close contest. Mt.Eliza were clearly pumped up for the clash and came out with all guns blazing. We hung tough until three quarter time and then the flood gates opened with Mt.Eliza finishing in front by 60 points. Joel Miller was exceptional through the middle of the ground all day while Troy Kirwan, Ryan Smith and Brad Harvey stood tall in defence under extreme pressure all day. Look for a more spirited outfit to take on Edithvale this week at home

Big day for the Reserves against three time Premiership team Mt Eliza.
With the weather a little damp the boys were pumped up & after tough first half the doggies went at half time with a lead and keeping Mt Eliza to no goals. The pressure which the boys
kept up was fantastic. We had to keep the pressure up for the second half knowing Mt Eliza would come out fighting like a good team would. & as the game continued the boys started to tire. With the last quarter going the boys were spent Mt Eliza started to get on top and kicked away to a 39 point win. We have come along way since last year and I know that as the year goes on we will get better and become a very good team

Another frustrating day for the pups as we felt that our line up was strong enough to roll Mt Eliza.
We started well enough but lapsed for short periods of time in the second and third quarters. We now need to work on our consistency across the 80 minutes of a game of footy. We blooded two new boys on the weekend in Sam Mourney and Finn Shaw. I'm sure that both of these boys will be great long term prospects for the club and offer their families a warm welcome to the club.
Short break before we take on Edi-Asp at home as we search for our first win of the year.

Going down by ten goals the Bulldogs A grade side had a battle on their hands against Mt Eliza on ANZAC day. Britt Archdeacon position and shot well in goals being fed with precision from Tess Cooper and Tess Haddock. Defensively, Jess Gordon and Candace Page had their work cut out for them with an exceptionally tall gaoler rarely missing. Vicki Sanford contributed well coming on in the second half but the deficit was too much to catch-up.

After a dreadful start the B Grade girls managed to get the game back on track in the second term. Meg Feutrill worked tirelessly in defence as did Chris Anthony through the mid-court fighting for every possession. Carli Rickman was instrumental in stemming the flow of goals from Mt Eliza, with Charli Brown converting well in goals. Katey Rudolph further aided the fight back coming on in the 3rd term. But it was Vicki Sanford who led the charge in the final term, slowly but surely pegging back the lead but the girls ran out of time, going down by 4 goals.
